If I ever move I will have to remove the window (again) to get my flat file out of the living room. So yeah.natepachl wrote:This may be the best advice ever given on EB.finneganm wrote:Go with the 55 and then don't ever move. Ever.

You know you can turn them vertical (when empty), right?HappaHaoli wrote:If I ever move I will have to remove the window (again) to get my flat file out of the living room. Yeah, I've done it several times by myself. Helps if you have a dolly.
Go with the 55. If nothing else you have more breathing room on the sides of larger prints. I know you have probably a decent stack of 40ish inch prints and having that room on the sides is always nice. I cant wait to trade back up to a large set once we move again.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the advice (and to my wife for the early xmas gift). You ended up convincing me to go with the 55". Paid $300 for a new 55" metal flat file with base which I'm sure isn't the best deal in the world but seemed pretty reasonable.
ISO Horkey Stacy Lowery Paleo Deck. $$$$$$$ (or trade)

Considering the value of the prints you'll store in it, that's a reasonable price.
