Took apart a frame that was dinged up and the print was hinged like so. Do I just take a tweezer and gently peel the tape that is on the print there?

You'll need to moisten the hinges to loosen the adhesive, whatever it is. Use distilled water and a q-tip. Apply sparingly and slowly work your way through.

Turns out, as I was looking at this closer in my office, i had the exact same hinging paper in the house and ended up doing what you said.

I'm pretty sure you can get a quick supply of distilled water by using the ice built up inside your freezer , waiting for it to thaw and that's fine.

That's what I was told as kid when we needed to use distilled water for inside a steam iron anyway.
