I contacted Jerry's Artarama customer service regarding their 24x36 portfolios recently and this was their response:
" I regret to inform you that unfortunately it was backordered and then discontinued. Again, we apologize that the item was discontinued, it is likely due to a change the manufacturer has made in their production and they won’t be producing any more of that particular item."

Thought you guys would be interested to know. Bummer, too. Can't find any portfolios online that is similar.

After reading through the last few posts, I guess I'm just the most recent to realize that I should have purchased two or three more of these portfolios when I did a few years ago....sheesh.

Dammit. I guess it's time for me to build a flat file and make sure I don't waste any space in my few precious 24x36 sleeves. why would picturesque stop producing these?

Obvs demand ain't high enough. Outside of this little niche, no one wants em.

didn't realize print collectors were such a small niche that no company would find it worth making these. especially seeing as how they were consistently sold out on Jerry's website for like the last 5 or so years.

I've been satisfied with this museum box so far.

True, the box is not portable like a presentation case. But, on the other hand, it is great to look directly at stored prints without having to remove them from a mylar sleeve every time. Viewing prints through mylar is a killjoy.

I recently found a deal on a flat file locally so once I transfer all my prints, I'll have 2 of the 24x36 and 2 of the 18x24 portfolios full of refills to get rid of. I'll be sure to post when they are ready in case anyone is interested.

I would be interested in the two 24" x 36" portfolios if/when they become available.
