I had this bookmarked from awhile back but don't remember what thread I got it from. Anyway i'm looking for something to store a few prints I want to get that are too big to fit in my picturesque portfolio. Looking to acquire some Horkey's like his TT and TWBB so would they fit in 29x43x2 size box? I figure if I could store a few prints in a box it would help since I have absolutely no room for a flat file and want to protect my prints.
Has anyone used these archival movie poster boxes?

They have all different types so you can find one that fits your size/storage needs. Just make sure to use buffer paper between your prints to prevent color transfer.

I use a Solander Museum Case for my oversized (and valuable) prints.
admittedly,it's a bit of an investment for the big case (~$325) but depending on your collection, it could be worth it.

the boxes linked in the first post are fine, just not as robust. I use a midsize one of those for underbed overflow storage.
just don't stack anything on top.

University products is a good company. Although we dont carry that product we carry a number other products. They also sell under the name of Lineco. Got it. It's fine for standard 24x36 and smaller, but it's a no go for some Horkeys and Nautilus items. Seems OK for under-the-bed storage but not for travel/shipping. Not convenient for frequent viewing of your art. Corners have aluminum 'reinforcement'. I finally got around and ordered the university products one I linked in the original post. I had a coupon for 15% off and free shipping so it wasn't as expensive. Honestly its just a big cardboard box lol. But it fits under my bad and can fit my Horkey prints, so I guess it serves its purpose. Not ideal for travel or heavy use at all.
What do you guys recommend to separate prints in a flat file with? Tissue paper? Glassine?
Or maybe bags that can fit 19x39 Horkeys?
