I have never really done it but received a lot of prints in a tube. Got 13 once in a pretty big tube and they were fine.
How many could one safely fit in a 3" Yazoo?

If you want to send multiple prints in a tube, I would not use a 3.....2 prints is about the max IMO.

We had to rock out of Japan pretty quick after the big quake & meltdowns in 2011, kind of a controlled evacuation...I got my entire collection into tubes and into suitcases. Had no time for arranging proper shipment, obviously.

As the pics show, there were a couple of them which I took as carry on...If anything, it was a good exercise in careful packing. I think I only had two prints with damage, and that happened during unpacking.

So, you can get quite a few in, if you're very careful, but the recipient will have to have some skills themselves to take them back out.

I rolled them in batches of 2 or 3 in kraft, secured with tape, covered with loose kraft or tissue to protect from the tape, then rolled the next batch around that. Kept going until I reached max diameter for the tube. As you can see from the list on the 2 tubes pictured, I put cheap prints in as packaging around the pricier ones...
