I have about $100 in credit on Amazon and am looking to get something to store my 12x36, 24x36 and smaller prints. Are there any good dea. on Amazon for Polybags of that size or of a portfolio?

I get my poly bags from Bags Unlimited. If you're storing flat bags are all you need. If you plan to store vertical then add acid-free backboards as well--this allows you to store 2 per bag and keeps the bag rigid (and we all want rigid bags right? :P )

Are they available on Amazon.

These were the only ones I saw of 24x36 size. Dont know if they are good of the price is decent. Also should I get ones cut slightly bigger?

Saw these outside Amazon - http://www.clearbags.com/24-7-16-x-36-1 ... 1x921.html

They are cut bigger than 24x36

Going to store flat under bed in bags then foamcore sandwich.

Are the 1mm bags ok or go thicker?

Not to thread jack you, but I am in the market for the exact same thing (24x36 acid free bags). I have found some for I think $75 (100 ct) that were recommended on here. Thing is, I don't need 100 so if you are interested in splitting them, I'd be interested.

I like frame destinations bags myself, http://www.framedestination.com/bags/pr ... em/BGPRBA/, and I split them with another member on the board as well. I think it was cheaper when I picked them up about a year ago. Was able to roll and ship them to the other person in a 4" tube, but the shipping to them was more than the shipping from Frame Destination of the bags to me... And they shipped them flat in a giant ass box.

Oh dang, shipping may kill the deal although those are the bags I was thinking about (I think). I might go to my local print shop and see if I can get them to help me out on their next order. I would have sworn that Jerry's had a smaller quantity set of bags (25 maybe?) at that size not too-too long ago, but seemingly no longer.

Shipping to me from FD was like $12, and then shipping to them (they were in TX) was $15-17 I think. They are surprisingly heavy once tubed up, but it still worked out to about $40 a person (or so) for 50 bags, cheaper than if you ordered 50 straight from FD.

this seller has a bunch of them but it seems like the larger sizes are only available in large quantities. also doesnt say much about acid free. seems to be intended for food storage.

Does anyone know how these clear bags compare to mylar sleeves from bags unlimited? I've only ever purchased from bags unlimited and all my prints are stored in 4 mil. mylar sleeves with backing boards.
