I have an extra flat file if anyone is interested in it. It's a big boy measuring 47" wide and 36" deep. Just a grey 5 drawer. Not in perfect condition but not roached either. I'm in St.Louis,MO. Message me if interested. Cheers!

Rockford Files:
https://rockford.craigslist.org/for/d/n ... 80492.html
Blueprint / Flat-File Cabinets ($200 each 5-drawer modular section. Take 3 sections for $500, or 4 for $600)
(These are 2.5" deep drawers and each module is 43.5" wide x 32.5" deep)

I also have blueprint cabinets that measure 41.25" wide x 28" deep with 5" deep drawers.
Each module has 3 drawers. Two modules make a stack with a base. I have four modules and two bases.
$350 for two modules and a base (3rd photo)

Large White Blueprint Cabinet 50" x 38" interior drawer space. Includes two packages of new paper. $350 (2nd photo)

Dumb question. Is the concept here to buy a flat file storage cabinet (metal) then line it for archival purposes, put in a museum drop box?

I have enough prints now in my basement in foam core that it's starting to get unruly and looking for a solution that doesn't cost 500-600 dollars.

Shouldn’t cost more than $300 if you check Craig’s list in your area regularly. Once you have it, no museum drop box needed. Just a sheet of glassine in between each print. Increases the safety and enjoyment of your hard-earned collection immeasurably.

There's a free one that popped up in Washington, NJ. Outside looks a bit rough but you never know.
