Looking for a Flat File? Your Area Might Be In Here
I'm trying to get rid of a huge Safeco 5-drawer flat file. I purchased it brand new from Amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00355 ... UTF8&psc=1
Looking for $500 cash, it's in excellent condition. It's just too big for my apartment and if I bang my knee on it one more time I'm going to rage out.
It's heavy and awkward and would have to be picked up and carried down some stairs.

Wow, that's basically ideal ... gorgeous looking, fits everything, for that price it's a steal. Surprised he's willing to take such a loss. I'd keep it on principle.HappaHaoli wrote:Why did I go looking?! Hmmmm....

May or may not respond. I emailed yesterday because I want wood but I'm impatient and am not waiting for an email back after 24 hours. Feel free to email this dude.

More expensive than I'd like but if they are rare in LA, it's better than paying retail.

Expensive but intriguing...

Advice, trying to hook this up for 150, good price, or should I wait it out for something better?

They want 190 so I doubt they'll come down that low. But yea, for now I don't need a larger unit. Thanks.summoner wrote:^^^ That looks to be a good size to slide under a bed. If you dont have a ton to store, then it should be fine, but the most I would buy it for would be $100.

Only concern would be if you have to pull it out from under the bed. Doesn't look to have feet so you might have to add or use those saucer things. That will add a bit of height to it if you plan on putting it under a bed. Otherwise that wood finish looks really, really nice.neuikc wrote:They want 190 so I doubt they'll come down that low.
