What size flat file should I get? It seems like most of the flat files listed in my area have drawers that are 25 " x 37"; seems like that might be a tight fit for most 24 x 36" prints.

They fit fine in that size, but I would honestly get the largest you can find that you have the space for. I had the choice of picking up the 25x37 or the next size up for the same price... went with the smaller and have been regretting it.

I got a 25"x37" last weekend, knowing that I might regret it eventually, but I'd been waiting for so long for one to come up on CL under $400 (They're usually $400-$650, when I eventually saw one for $225, I had to pull the trigger). Fits 24x36 perfectly as Summoner said, but it only takes one awesome irregular print to be sitting in a tube waiting to print to make you regret not holding out for a bigger size...I'm dreading that day  :)
