Needed some tips on flattening rolled prints. Framers use weights that they put on each corner. I suppose I could use pouches of rice or something, but would like to buy the proper weights. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks. Comes out to $20 including shipping. I suppose $5/weight isn't too bad? I'll see if anyone has any other recommendations. Will go with the one you posted if I don't get too much feedback. Thank you!

If you don't want to spend a lot you could just use some books. Get two acid free foam core boards and use the books as weights.

go to wal mart and buy a $3 bag of polished rocks (for fish tank) or marbles... take them home and fill up old socks, tie a knot and be done with it.

I have a set of poster weights from here and the quality is great! They're also extra big which is perfect for my larger prints which are 24x36 but are great with any size. I'm thinking about buying another set. Not the mention the customer service is top notch! I can't recommend them enough.

In a pinch, I have just filled some small ziplock (they were "snack" sized bags so half the height of a normal sandwich ziplock bag) with rice, got most of the air out but left enough that the rice could move, and then just used that. I have since replaced those with actual print weights, but they worked great for a short time.

Oh, and if it matters I believe it was Basmati rice that I used, but any rice will do. ;)

I was generously gifted a set of these. She went REALLY out of her way in the customer service department, I can't thank her enough.

Plus, why would you not buy from a fellow board member?

The fat dude method works but be prepared for problems with moisture during the summer months.
