A little bit of an aside, but watched 13th on Netflix yesterday.

Every single American should watch it.

That's all.

Do I understand your position correctly? You are a father who teaches his son the market gospel, while simultaneously you're a tad of a Marxist who invests in the market knowing the companies are run by a manager class we have no influence over and the whole thing could collapse at any moment but we might also get ahead.

You're right. You and I do hold similar beliefs somewhere in that jumble.

Yeah, because in that 9-month window majority at the beginning of a 2 term, 8 year presidency he didn't have other fudge to fix like the world economy collapsing, the mortgage crisis, bailouts, etc. I mean, c'mon, crystal balls are cool along with hindsight but this whole GOP 'he had a majority and should have fixed every drymounting problem in the world in those 9 months' argument is drymounting dumb.

Last couple of pages were pretty good. Thanks to all who participated!

P.S. Chev, since you are all pretty concerned about cancer and fudge, you should not let your kids read newspapers. Something about the paint they use. #notjoking.

Definitely some interesting reads and assumptions.

Thanks for the concern. Barron’s is once a week and he’s not always interested in it and if I recall the cancer links were found in the workers in the newspaper factory. Also the inks have been improved to more plant based further reducing the risk.

All a parent can do is try to minimize the risks.

ICE Lawyer Charged With Trying To Defraud Immigrants By Stealing Their Identities
Raphael A. Sanchez allegedly targeted seven people whose cases were being processed by the agency.

https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/ic ... 66c51350c1

Raphael A. Sanchez, the agency’s chief counsel in its Seattle branch, was charged Monday with one count wire fraud and one count of aggravated identity theft, court documents show. During a four-year period, he allegedly attempted to defraud American Express, Bank of America, Capital One, Citibank, Discover, and JPMorgan Chase by using the personal information of seven people whose cases were being processed by ICE.

He even sent emails from his official ICE address to his personal email containing a copy of someone’s energy bill, as well as photos of a U.S. permanent resident card and a Chinese passport, prosecutors say.

I just hope and pray the GOP will one day find the fortitude and clarity of thought to do the right thing and vote to ban public high schools.
