Well, it looks like Ebeans will decide who the president is this year. Vote if you would like or abstain in you're offended by polls. This is a highly scientific poll respected by many media outlets.

The poll will run for 30 days. Why 30 days? Because everyone here is that damn important.

You do not need to produce your identification to vote.

It looks like we have a raw percentage turnout at 25%.

Obviously this doesn't take into account multiple page views by one individual.

Doing a poll on EB is like doing a poll on MSNBC or on Fox News. You're not going to get an accurate account of voters preferences in the U.S. but with that said, the voting will show you how skewed art lovers on this site are to the left.

That's why you need an I.D. to vote.

This "poll" is going to be more accurate than ya think.

Regardless of what side you are on, the fact that anyone has a problem with showing an ID when you vote is ludicrous.

There's a whole discussion about this over in the All things Election thread. I'd encourage you to join in that conversation. But briefly, the issue isn't about someone not wanting to show an ID that's sitting in their wallet at the polling locations. The problem is forcing people to present an ID who may not have had the same opportunity to even obtain an ID. Or may not, in their daily life, even need an ID, so hasn't gone to the trouble (and yes in some places it's a non-trivial activity). Furthermore why create any barriers to entry when there really is zero evidence that it's even solving any problems that exist. It's a device to hold back the disenfranchised constituency. But yeah, i'd suggest maybe checking out that discussion if you want the full conversation they were calling back to.

Will do. Without looking into it, I just would imagine you take a few minutes out of your day and go get an ID. If you are a legal citizen I can't imagine there being even the slightest issue, but I guess I'll have to look into it because maybe I'm missing something.

Id usually agree with you Kyler, but this poll throws accuracy out the window for an entirely different than expected reason. Let's just say I'm slightly surprised by it.
