Man, I hadn't been to Alpine Valley since the 80's.

I may have to make that trek one more time, for old-time sake.

Worcester = the practice session, bonnaroo to VA get the rust out, then they start rolling and I hop on. Looking forward to second leg as well.

they have undercover cops wandering around the grounds looking to buy/looking for people doing it out in the open?

never been to a phish concert, so i really have no idea.

if so, - that's a lot of effort on their part.

That's the tip of the iceberg, that place is WIRED. They have these things that look like portable spot lights, but on the top, its a box- with a camera than can zoom in someones tiny pecker peeing.........

They use the cameras to spot- send the undercovers. I've seen dozens of kids busted for underage drinking, smoking weed- the gammot. One guy walked up and asked to hit the joint, dude extended his hand, SLAM, hand cuffs.

And they want MONEY- most of the tickets can be paid right there "with no record". Huge money - not the same Alpine anymore, they let the cops in.

Bit off-topic, but we also have Homeland security and ICE watching us. Just had to sign a customs declaration w/social security number for a canvas from London, thanks to Homeland security and George Bush. I hate them!

Cops would rather target soft crime like concert goers smoking herb than deal with hard core stuff.

being a resident of Arizona makes being a live music fan very difficult, and tour announcement days very very aggravating. Will have to wait and see what the "additional" dates have for me.

enjoy tour, those of you that will be able to make it out.
