I've been digging her new album lately; she sounds a lot like Mirah, which is basically the only selling point I need.mtarail wrote:

There is a pretty solid five year period (up to a couple years ago) during which both of my children were born where I'm utterly unaware of music/books/movies from the time, unless for some reason they came to my attention in the last two years.
The band Let's Eat Grandma have a new album coming out - announced this week - which is the only reason I'm now aware of them. Weird British pop-duo; remind me a lot of Cocorosie (who were super divisive back when they came out, so that RIYL is pretty highly stressed). Really digging their debut from a couple years back.

Camp Cope sounds a bit like an Australian Rainer Maria, and that's really all I need to know.
