Beach House - Bloom
This is as good as their last: Teen Dream; two really amazing records in a row.

Now, some Mexican tunes... they play this stuff in radio stations (Spanish) around the US, alongside cumbias, reggaeton, rock, and pop. Shame...
(Not that this is groundbreaking, but these guys were like our The Cure, you can see the similarities if you watch the video.)
(I miss the 80s.)
Caifanes - La Historia

Coming back from Swedesboro, NJ... thought it would be appropriate to listen to a Swede impersonating Dylan (in a good way).
(Hope we can get to see him in Philly next month...)
Tallest Man On Earth - There Is No Leaving Now
P.S. I think he forgot some of the lyrics from the first verse...

"To Zion": I remember listening to this song nonstop when the album came out in '98. I can now understand it a bit better... (yeah, might sound corny, but it's true). It sounds a bit outdated, especially with the Santana riffs... but, oh well.
P.S. I used to laugh when she goes "look at your career, they said, Lauryn baby, use your head..." Anyway, not about the meaning, but the "look at your career" phrase.

I gotta do some studying, music in the background helps... so... some other stuff I am listening to:
Cat Power and Handsome Boy Modeling School - I've Been Thinking
The Roots ft. Erykah Badu - You Got Me (Shout Out to Phily!)
James Blake - Enough Thunder (highlight of this EP is the Joni Mitchell cover). The lyrics are as good as they get; can't remember feeling like this since I listened to Afghan Whigs - My Curse for the first time. Many thanks to srdzevon for posting this one a couple of days ago... many thanks to my wife for introducing me to Ms. Joni.

Frank Zappa's "Dinah Moe-Humm"
