also if you watch the vid, you'll see how drymounting stoked Andy C is to be up there - dude keeps jamming out and raising his arms up. such insane energy at that place... so many people so psyched for the same thing... i was buggin out the whole time this set was rockin and listening to it right now gives me the chills!!!

Oh you came around at the exact right time then to be honest. The early early stuff was super cool to be around for but I think drum and bass really hit it's stride in '96. Ed, Optical and Trace leading the techstep march, Andy C and Randall keeping the rollers rollin, Hype had the raga thing going. Great times.
Remember when Bad Company put out Inside the Machine and blew the lid off everything? I don't think there's been as exciting a time in the music since then.

Ps. I'm from DC. We went to pretty much every party thrown at the armory. I'm sure you spilled your drink on me at some point :pint:
