Picked up Wednesday tix. Nice small amphitheater in the mountains. Seems like a no-brainer.

Sweet trumpeting angels, David Rawlings and Co absolutely brought the thunder last night! :notworthy:

2nd to last night of the US tour, they came out hot and loose. Played 2 sets, followed w/2 encores. Just short of playing 2.5 hrs total.

Brittany Haas and Willie Watson had a much larger presence since last tour. Willie sang 3 songs, and played a lot more fiddle alongside Brittany. She had a go @ David's guitar, which I hadn't seen in the past.

Saw this tour last night at UPAC. Holy shitfuck you guys, what a show they put on! Just tremendous. Never thought I'd get to see some of the Talking Heads tunes they played. Had an out of body during The Great Curve. It was truly an art show with music, just can't say enough. If you get a chance to see this tour, even if you're not the biggest fan, jump on it. Unique and amazing.

I was never a Talking Heads or Byrne fan but I understand his importance in music. I watched that Colbert performance earlier and thought hey this is a damn good song.

Just outdid myself and managed to snag face value tickets for a private box to see Nine Inch Nails at Robert Smith's Meltdown at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
2900 capacity venue

Guess I'm seeing Jack White at Third Man on Friday. Pretty cool to see him at a 250-ish cap venue (that sounds good) when his last local show was at the 20,000 cap arena.
