I would love to go see one of these shows but this seems like an out and out nightmare. That being said, thanks for the post! :pint:

Basically it will be a nightmare for tickets.
The 360 tour, which was their last big tour at the same stadium stops, sold out extremely fast.
With this being one of their better albums they are touring on, I can see it being even faster.
It really will depend how many days they plan to do at each stadium.

Floors, lower bowl tickets will be all but gone via FanClub, CC Presales, STH'ers, promoters, etc. Those will also be the priciest seats to start.
The cheapest tickets will be gone in 2 seconds from casual fans who don't want to spend a ton.... Which will leave the more expensive "nose bleeds" and less desirable tickets. Those will prolly float around for a bit, might not even fully sell out at some stops.

AMEX will def do something, maybe even Citi at some venues, as well as radio station presales. If you know any NFL STHers, they will get first crack at tickets above everyone else. That might be your best bet for something good at face value.

Me too. ^Two of mine: 12/19 and 12/20/1987

W/B.B. King

As seen in Rattle and Hum

Every seat in the stadium was $5. For both shows.

I'm beyond surprised they aren't playing AZ, NV -or- CO.

I thought for sure I would see Tempe in the dates.
Would have been cool to start the tour there.
Rose Bowl for me. Going to be a drymounting zoo.

It's not like Tempe was the lone spot in the movie that was in color...or that AZ holds other significance for them...or...

Oh.

Wait.

My only U2 show was 11-22-87 in Austin. It rocked. I'm in for this.

Is anyone a paid subscriber? (or signing up to get access to the presale)?

New fan club members could by VIP or red zone packages but... I bombed out. Will try for GA tomorrow. Why didn't I join like, 20 years ago?

I used to have a USU2 number. I had joined their fan club back in the early 80's. I remember getting the membership and a couple of sweatshirts as a Christmas gift. I let it expire...oh well.
First time I saw them was during the Unforgettable Fire tour, at the Spectrum in Philly. I still have my tour programs from that show, and the Joshua Tree shows I saw. I just found an old time magazine I had stashed away in '87 with the band on the cover- perfect shape. I was a huge U2 fan back in the 80's and then I went away to school and fell away from it. It was a great time back then. I'm definitely hitting up the Philly show this summer.

No. Floors were actually pretty decent at $70. I'm not complaining. I got decent tix at $100 a pop.
