Seeing Tool or NIN at Red Rocks is like bucket list level fudge.

Tool and King Crimson back in 2001 or so. One of the best concerts ever. King Crimson is also going on tour this year.

So it does appear APC is playing smaller venues. The one in Houston is actually in a brand new venue in Sugarland and max capacity is like 6500. Definitely grabbing a couple of tickets.

I think the Austin venue is about 8000 capacity.

And it's the same one that Tool played in a couple years ago. I do hope they don't use the same seating plan though. Couldn't believe there was no GA/Pit section. It was bloody seating all the way to the stage.

That's every Tool show I have been to since 2010 except festivals. I was told the band specified that they wanted seats to the front. Makes it easier to sell $500 front row vip packs I imagine.

yeah I hate that, I'd be fine if there was just a GA in back of some seats in the front. I like to just find a roomy spot on the rear of the floor.

Saw them there in '98 with the Melvins, Ænima tour. Their No Quarter cover was ridiculous. Makes Phish jams (which I was once forced to watch on youtube by a woman who I didn't ask out a second time) look like a drunken uncle rocking out on a portable casio keyboard at a 10 y/o's birthday party
