Theres a couple other RR shows which I may go to last minute, time will tell. Also hoping TRPS will be the same weekend as Hardly Strictly but I may be off by a week

Peppers was awesome. Wish I could go back tomorrow. The coordinated lights were so freaking cool. Flea has so much energy he was jumpin around like a madman.

Smart on getting the passes - T-ride is 6-7 hours from DIA, though. Fly right into Telluride if you can, or into farmington and drive over. Fest will be great, but try to get out of town for a day, and see a little of the area. Get a water bottle w/ filter in it, so you aren't tearing through plastic bottles like crazy (it'll be crazy expensive, and you'll be wasting tons of plastic bottles if you don't, and you will want to drink tons of water).

Or, if you have a camelback backpack, throw in a geigerrig bladder and an in-line virus filter, and fill up at almost any water source. This thing will pay for itself over the course of a season, just with the water bottles you don't buy. You won't need a replacement filter for weeks, and you can walk into an show with it empty, and fill it up at any fountain. Super slick.

Or try some similar system, but clean water is what is probably going to add up most at almost every fest you go to (unless you're buying tons of booze on site, bah)

Saw Marduk and Incantation tonight. Crowd was weak as hell and Marduk's frontman was getting salty whenever his mic would fall and nobody would stand it back up :x

I've never seen a headliner NOT come back out for an encore. :hanging:

ironically/sarcastically. I actually know 40 y/o women who say "LOL", "OMG", and "BRB" in person, non-ironically or sarcastically, which is far more off-putting.

Thanks! Yeah, Kool Keith with Dan the Automator and DJ QBert have never performed live as Dr. Octagon before, so these are the first two ever, one in SF and one in LA, which I believe both immediately sold out. Looks like demand is high for them to at least do an East Coast show, so maybe they'll tack on more of a tour after these first ones. Looking forward to it!

I also added a couple more shows to my roster:
03/23/17: Wu-Tang at the Palladium (no ODB of course, but I've never seen any of them live and figured I should at least once)
06/01/17: Dead & Company at Hollywood Bowl (another group missing a "dead" member haha)
