Here's a hi-res of my VIP poster from last night. I'm so stoked to have been able to do a poster for a band I've been a huge fan of for nearly 30 years!

I've not been overly impressed with the current run of Metallica gig posters but yours, rmoore, is one of the best- nice one!

Thanks! Well, my AP copies were supposed to be screen printed while the show was getting lithos, but due to time constraints the whole run got litho'd. I actually designed one to be screened and one to be a litho.

They look amazing, though, and are on super heavy stock. Pretty much indistinguishable from a screen print once in a frame. I know that's heresy around here, though. :pint:

Yeah, just curious, nice how you captured the flame's effects on the imagery and change in colors as a result

I really like the Jeff Soto print from Orlando.

I'm going to see them in Seattle and I know we're going to get some drymounting awful Ames* print. :hanging:

*I like some of the work that Ames puts out, but I think they're way outside of their zone with a band like Metallica.

The 'butterfly' one by Soto? Beautiful- I had that in my basket but couldn't pull the trigger- the only other one, apart from this one, that I'd consider purchasing

Metallica tore the roof off of the building, super impressive loudest soundsystem setup by any band on tour right now hands down IMO, plus the gig poster by Maxx424 I really dig and is a local socal artist :rockin:
