Go Tiger! Highly unlikely he overtakes the leader but he's been playing pretty great this weekend.

Man, 6 birds thru the first 12 was pretty excited. Shitty finish w/ the wrong club on #17. Other than that, S O L I D :pint:

I've brought my handicap down almost 2 strokes this Spring. I've been able to squeeze in 2 rounds a week since the courses finally opened up here in the Twin Cities.

Nice. All about honing in on the short game if you're looking to remove a few pops from the handicap IMO... get up and down a few (more) times, make a few (more) putts. Brings down your index quick.

The great thing is that my short game still hasn't come around yet. I was at a 15.1 to start the year and am now trending to a 13.7 (I thought I was trending to a 13.3 when I said 2 strokes - turns out it's not even quite 1.5). I put up an 80 my 3rd time out, which is the bulk of why I'm heading down. It's exciting, since the chipping and putting can still get much better.

I was a 10.3 at one time in my life, before a back injury. I'm hoping to get back around there by mid-summer. I completely changed my takeaway, which is leading to much more solid striking. I just need to learn how to play this new ball flight. My miss is now a hook, which is much more fun than a slice. Or fat. I'm hitting more fat shots than I used to. But that's still me adjusting to how the new takeaway feels, I think/hope. Hitting the ball fat is embarrassing. And here I am, sharing it with you fine people.

I'm a stay-at-home dad. What else am I supposed to do while my kids are at school?

By the way, Corales in Punta Cana was amazing.

Me and a British guy I met at our resort and talked into playing with me on the 18th tee:
