The real fun is about to begin. I haven't had time to pick a bracket but when I did in the past I usually decided a fair number of games on whether I thought a conference would over or under perform expectations. I am thinking the SEC this year is way overrated and will see a bunch of early outs. Seriously?...a 19-15 Alabama team with a 8-10 conference record is in the tourney as a 9 seed. I also see a good number of early losses for the Big 12. The ACC should perform as expected.

I've heard most of the "experts" are picking Michigan St. but I'll be pulling for my Tar Heels (even though I'm well aware of their lack of chances to repeat).

I follow the pros, not college, but I do always enjoy the tourney. Filled out my family bracket.

I hoping AZ goes all the way. Pay these players, or restructure the system.
My Ducks are too busy in the NIT so I'm pulling for the remaining PAC12 team and FSU(hometown)

I'm not sure how 20-12 (8-10) ASU got in while 24-11 (12-6) USC didn't.

I'm assuming it's because ASU had wins over Kansas, Xavier who are both 1 seeds, as well as wins over Kansas State and San Diego State, both who are in the tournament.

I suppose USC didn't have many quality wins and ASU's were very high quality wins but I'm a big believer that if you can't even finish at .500 in your league you should not get a tourney invite

Arizona losing as a 4 in the first round is one thing but losing by 20+?

I feel like anyone who has been paying attention to the success of Sean Miller should have seen that one coming a mile away. Never has a coach been so good at squandering pro level talent at the college level. They certainly got drilled.

I'm not huge on him, but I would be lying if I said I had them losing in the first round, lol. I had them winning a few games then bowing out but luckily most of my bracket competition had them going deep! :pint:
