With the winter meetings around the corner there will be some interesting decisions for major league clubs. For my Yanks, not sure yet why to think about Boones hire! Stanton seems to be the one player with the most current interest. And the Shohei Ohtani sweepstakes are live! Bring on spring training!! Let's play ball!!!

Really surprised the Yankees went with Boone. Honestly, I was surprised by their entire list of interviews as I believe Eric Wedge was the only one with prior major league managerial experience. Really hoping Ohtani signs with them!

I don't like the Yankees, but I think Girardi was an excellent manager.

I do think Girardi got the short end of the stick and I was sad to see him go. But on the other hand, I do trust Cashman's judgment.

I think you're going to see more hands on from GM's like Cash & Theo in the future. manager in the dugout will be a formality and the real power lies within the front office guys. get a manager who keeps the clubhouse happy and light and says the right things...

True, just glad to see the Yankees adapt with the game instead of fighting it. Boone got his wish, now all he has to do is win!

That's basically been the name of the game for some time now.

Wow, Ohtani won't even grant the Yankees a sit down! Says he wants to go to a small market West Coast team.

If I were Ohtani and it wasn't about the money (it's all gonna suck for him compared to what he's really worth on the real FA market ) the 2 best large market brain trust organizations are The Dodgers and The Cubs.

Multiple sources saying it's been narrowed down to 7 teams on Ohtani's meeting list. Nightengale says several GMs have told him they think Seattle is the clear cut favorite at the moment.

Mariners
Padres
Giants
Dodgers
Angels
Cubs
Rangers
