There are unconfirmed reports that Cano got the PEDs directly from the owner of the Seattle Mariners... but I don't think Mike Trout would do that

Wow, I'm honestly surprised at this  Even more glad the Yankees let him walk in 2014.

Indeed.

Always liked Joey Votto, but these comments are not so cool....
Say it ain't so, Joe: Toronto's Votto 'couldn't give a rat's ass' about Canadian baseball

I agree as well. The player should be suspended for games he's available for. This was more than likely the players union fighting back/compromising that MLB can suspend players, even those on the disabled list. That way they don't miss as many games or lose as much money.

Reading the new Keith Hernandez book, which is fantastic, and came across this via another message board.

Well, looks like the Yankees need pitching even more now that Jordan Montgomery will not in fact be coming back this season. He had Tommy John surgery done yesterday so now it appears the Yankees will be in the market for 2 starters, since you can't leave German in the rotation (who was already filling in for Montgomery) and Sonny Gray hasn't been pulling his weight either. Some chatter has suggested the Yankees try and pry Noah Syndergaard and Jacob deGrom away from the Mets. As much as I'd like to see it, it'll never happen. The Mets won't trade either of the guys to the Yankees because the fan base would turn on them. Cole Hamels has been mentioned as well and while he's not a bad option, I wouldn't give up my top tier talent to get him.

Wow, not a great answer to the question Sammy:

Jeremy Schaap: "20 years now after the home run chase, did you use any performance enhancing drugs, at any time in your career?"
Sammy Sosa: "I never had a test positive in this country."

Oof! :hanging:
