Im stoked. Surprised for sure, but stoked. But now the even trickier move, Melo. And I like this for the small market, but is are 1st round exits going to be ok for the most expensive team(currently) in the NBA? Really think Roberson could have gotten them to the second round, and some more gelling time between Russ and PG will only be a positive.

Melo isn't worth half of what they're paying him.

CP3 re-signing in Houston gives them a fighting chance at Bron too.

So I just had a WILD thought. Say OKC just decided Fudge it, and really went all in, found a way to convince SA to take Melos expiring deal and some young legs for Khawhi. Russ, PG13, Khawhi, Dre, and Adams!? Goodness Easily best Defensive team in the league.

Wow, today's been a busy day already. PG returns to the Thunder without even sitting down with other teams? If the Lakers want LeBron, they'd better do something quick. Chris Paul resigned with Houston. I disagree mtarail, now that Houston resigned Paul and Gerald Green and trying to resign Capela, they don't have the money for LeBron. One of the few ways it would have worked would have been if LeBron opted in to his contract with Cleveland and they did a sign and trade. But that's off the table for now. DeAndre Jordan didn't go back on his word this time as he's going to Dallas for next season. Trevor Ariza is going to Phoenix for a year.

The question with OKC is who do they fill out the roster with? Not only are they chasing the Warriors but the Rockets as well. Do they stretch Melo?

Bron has agreed to a four-year, $154M deal with the Lakers.

Bookies had the Lakers at 3/1 to win the title a couple of days ago, and this is why!

The East is even more of a joke now. FFS.

Wow, these guys are dropping like flies. I wonder who they'll surround him with? I can't believe he signed this early! Well, Philly not with standing, Boston will easily coast to the Finals next year. The West will be fun to watch with Golden State, LA, Houston and OKC battling it out.

Unless the Lakers have a Kawhi deal ready or something...that team isn't making it past GS or Houston as currently constructed. Guess LeBron's Finals streak is finally in jeopardy.

He might just be at a point where it doesn't even matter. Or at the least he is aware this will be a year mainly for improving the young bucks and creating an appealing destination for enticing others next year. Main focus seems to be the family and future Hollywood business opportunities.

Was thinking the same. Looking forward to the inevitable LeBron vs LaVar shitshow though.

As a die hard Bay Area native and 12 year Warrior fan, I am thrilled and happy for James and his family being in Cali. I agree that this decision isn't about chasing rings but a well rounded happiness and life after he retires. I am hoping that Lonzo and Randle and one pick will be traded to the Spurs for mentally soft Leonard. Cousins will join em. Lakers have more leverage however and may secure Leonard NEXT season as well as trying to entice Klay Thompson. I am no fan of the Laker kids but Kuzma definitely will fit with a Lebron offense...Lonzo not so much.

Curious if PG and Deandre will change their minds since nothing gets signed until July 7th lol.

Either way drymount Dan Gilbert and Cleveland. 11 seasons with James and only one ring is a joke.
