Last 5 minutes of the 3rd was insanely good hockey. Jesus. Still goin' with the Caps' but Vegas is gonna make 'em earn it.

Indeed, the last five minutes were what hockey is all about. Washington needs to heat it up a bit though and definitely can. I think there were a couple of calls that should have been made by the refs on both sides, but whatever, really. Also, the goalie of the game goes to the posts on both sides of the rink.

Yeah, that cross-check in the crease that led to Vegas tying it @ 4 was bullshit. But, replay/hindsight is always 20/20, as they say... :pint:

Got to watch only the second and third periods while watching the kids. Good game. Caps took some dumb penalties. Holtby is drymounting great. That save...

I think they have a good chance. Especially if Fleury will continue the melt as he usually does under pressure. Ovi needs to get his game up. And less drymounting penalties! Defense seem to be lacking a bit as well.

He is a legend, but I still drymounting hate him. Not every legend has to be on TV.

Right on point!

That's definitely one of the best hockey fights.

Best time of year. Sad it's coming to an end. Enjoy this boys.

Side note: My summer league just started up again and I couldn't be more stoked.

How was? I didn't get to watch the game today, aside from the last couple of minutes. According to the stats, either Vegas played a shitty or Washington actually played well defensively. If the case is the latter, the Knights are done.

I only saw the first two periods. First was even, and exciting! Caps scored early but had the goal taken back and instead were given a goaltender interference penalty. They (Caps) took it to them in the second, outshooting them like 14-4 or something. Kuznetzov was back and and had a huge impact, scoring a beauty!

My takeaway from the 1st two periods: Washington looked strong, won almost every single faceoff, and had great puck movement in the offensive zone. If they play like that on Monday, they'll be hard to beat!
