Same, and I'm an Eagles fan. Couldn't stand him as a player, but his analysis is spot on and an amazing commentator. usually I'm cursing the TV saying how stupid they are, or thats why they aren't coaching. Tony's the real deal in that box. Glad we got someone good finally.

That was the most Jetsy performance I could imagine - get your hopes up then let them down with a mixture of ineptitude, bad luck and poor QB play - pretty much sums up the New York Jets since I started supporting them in 1985.

3rd and 1 inside the one, incomplete pass and a jet sweep .... really?

I'll take it ... but damn, you gotta think they could punch it in running straight up the gut. Possibly Freeman jumping over the line?

Note, the Pats have scored 51 straight points on the Falcons.

Oof. I saw the play live and had no idea it was that bad. Hope he can come back from this.

Duane Brown and Jeremy Lane just traded teams.

And Pats trade Garoppolo to SF for a 2nd rounder.

13 months, one head coach and 1 or 2 picks later .... nailed it!

A second rounder feels light for Garoppolo, even with him primed to get paid after this year without having played.

If they were indeed offered something in the 12-15 pick range in April, then yeah ... this is light. But, who knows what the real story was.

But the options now are are deal him before tomorrow, franchise him after the season for $20M+ and then trade him (this also means definitely losing Malcolm Butler) or let Jimmy G walk and get a late 3rd round pick.

Rumors out of N.E. say they are going to flip this pick (or possibly their first or second) for some defensive help this year. So, it could turn out to be a three way trade, trading a future asset for more ammo to help this year.

And hey, the 49ers waived Brian Hoyer, so, we might get back our QB of the future anyway!

Think the news was that they'd only been offered a second rounder by Cleveland as well back in April. Given how Cleveland's been stocking up assets and not making the best evaluations (I mean...Watson was right there at 12), I wouldn't be surprised if that's true as they're in the midst of The Process (TM).

I swear my unabashed belief in Wentz and Watson turning into star QBs is predicated solely on Cleveland opting not to take them. Seems to be the winning formula...

Just saw that, for a 4th rounder. Great score for Philly.

And with Zeke's suspension coming back up.

Deck's been stacking itself for Philly this year in the NFC East. I'm ambivalent to them but it's just crazy, esp. when I kept expect Alshon Jeffrey's legs to explode or something.
