Great fit, especially with Stevens coaching. Sucks for the Jazz, but unfortunately it did feel like they hit their ceiling last season, and the West just got so much harder with George and Butler jumping into the conference.

Andre Roberson tipped $13 on a $500 tab on the same day he signed a $30 million contract. Cheap POS, I would've been pissed too.

West has two NBA All-Star teams better than the East's best

Only 1 of the top 14 players in the NBA are in the Eastern Conference; and there's a good chance he ends up in the west in the near future.

I think the Cs gave up too much to get Kyrie. That Brooklyn pick is a massive get for the Cavs.

Crazy, crazy fudge.

Agreed. Win for the Cavs - they still compete (albeit without any substantial improvement) AND now have a potential #1 pick to pivot on depending on LeBron. C's gave up way too much given how little leverage Cleveland had.

pay via paypal, use credit card, file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.

It'll be interesting to see that first meeting between the 2 teams since this trade (It's actually their opening game on October 17th in Cleveland). Well, Kyrie got his wish, let's see what he can do with it.

Just saw an article discussing whether Amar'e Stoudemire deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. I haven't checked the stats or anything, but my gut reaction is 'hell no.'

Yeah, he was entertaining to be sure, had that great stretch with the 7 seconds or less Suns...but doesn't feel like he's accomplished as much as one needs to get into the HoF. Sucks that the injuries took him out, essentially.

Would also be a "hell no" here, but basketball HOF definitely the easiest to get into.

Melo to OKC. Gave up Kanter, McDermott, and a 2nd rounder. Yowza.

George made a lot of sense, but seeing Westbrook and Melo try to share the ball will be...oy.

Good trade by the Thunder.

Kanter + McDermott are not good.

Neither of them can stay on the floor in the playoffs. Both are horrific defenders.

At worst it's another salary dump - which leaves them with plenty of cap space should everyone jump ship next season.
