Not close to a dream team when you only have at most 1 or 2 of the top 10 players in the NBA currently.

1 or 2?

Could argue Durant, Irving, Thompson, Cousins, Green in the best couple for their respective positions.

Meanwhile real dream team was made up of the 3 of the greatest nba players of all time, not just arguably the best at their positions in a very weak league.

semantics, but i'd take
westbrook & curry over Ky
harden over klay
bron & kawhi over durant
ad over dray
No doubt Cousins is the best center in the nba, he's a beast.

I agree with most of those except i like draymond's scrappiness and versatility over AD. You don't "need" that guy when you're this much better than everyone, but it's nice to have that guy to play anywhere at any time.

Also, Harden over Klay never, ever, ever. Klay is so underappreciated it's insane to me. An outstanding all-around player and outside of Kawhi would be the best perimeter defender on the team.

I can't figure out if Nico Hernandez's fight is gonna be televised on Friday. He'll be the first American to medal in boxing since Deontay Wilder in 2008. Hopefully NBC will put it on the air.

Can they stop with the "biting the gold medal" pictures already? It's so tired, shows absolutely zero class, and has become arguably the worst cliché of the modern Olympic Games.

I'm hoping one group of medalists pulls the 1st-place-swallows-it-then-2nd-place-grabs-their-stomach-in-pain-then-it-drops-out-of-3rd-place's-butt trick.

Agree. The punch line is that the medal's are not even gold, just gold plated.

And NZ grabs silver behind GB again in cycling. Will the humiliations ever stop?

Answer: yes! Rowing pairs won gold- apparently those two have not lost a single race in 8+ years. It's like they're the Livestrong's of...wait...

Gold medal for hyperbole goes to NBC:

Simone Biles is what Michael Jordan would be if he never missed a three-pointer in his life.
