Flippers gonna flip ... Pats Bitter End cover on ebay

interesting. never seen a newspaper with the opposite on such a big headline.

As far as papers blowing headlines, this is the best example eva

Final score was actually Truman 303, Dewey 189 and piece of fudge Strom Thurmond 39

And the Truman paper was a better flip:

It's been a crazy, crazy FA period. Texans dumping Brock onto the Browns, who may just cut him altogether...Jeffery going on a 1-year prove-it contract with the Eagles...the Pats actually splurging...the Jags doing everything they can to win the free agent bowl...Romo going god knows where...the Jets being the only team showing interest in Cutler in the Jets-iest thing ever...

dude. Brock = hahahahahahha. drymount an a...why on earth would the Browns want him? Think it's the funniest move ever. Same thing for Cutler...thank god he's not a Bear anymore.

Oh, and please no Romo in Denver.

Pretty sure it was only to get that second round pick. Apparently they may still be able to move him AGAIN. I'd feel bad for Brock if he weren't making more money than I'll ever see.

And Denver and Houston are the only major Romo suitors, aren't they? Just waiting for when he falls apart again...

Texans main reporter
Texans did NOT trade Osweiler 2 get Romo. They won't trade 4 him. If he's a UFA they'll go after him but deal would have lots of incentives

Who really knows though

It as basically like an NBA trade tacking on a undesirable contract and getting an asset in return - in this case a 2nd rounder next year. Browns may still trade Osweiler, but will have to pay out part of the contract first (maybe $10M). Or they cut him and another team signs him for something (fudge, look at what Glennon got) ... which the Browns can then deduct from what they owe him. They also had a TON of cap room, they were below the floor heading into free agency. Still, would rather see the money go towards free agents that will help the team.

I have no confidence in the Browns smug baseball moneyball front office ... their draft class this year was awful.

So, you're welcome Texas.

If the people of Cleveland showed some self-respect and actually boycotted the games live and on tv then we might see something positive happen there.
I mean, I could see hanging on before the league started printing money and Modell skipped town, but in this day and age...
