He had a rep in some DEN circles of being a donkey. Stole tips off of tables at restaurants and pushed to make it illegal to put a for sale on your car in public parking spaces (he owns a bunch of car dealerships, i.e. is a beneficiary of corporate welfare).

His ears are not big enough to be a donkey and the person who hold the title on donkey emeritus on this board is X.

I mean, I could see hanging on before the league started printing money and Modell skipped town, but in this day and age...

I got there this past year ... spent very little time watching or caring. As weird as it is, the uniform change was the thing that finally shook me free.

Gonna miss the stories more than anything - such a total douche-bro.

Meanwhile, Packers add Bennett and Pats trade for Cooks. Damn.

Pats have already been making some awesome moves. I still Garrapolo still has a chance to go to the Browns for that #1 pick. Butler will probably still go to the Saints, but it might be for that #11 pick. Team is already looking way better than when they won the Super Bowl just over a month ago.

Eh, I feel like a Butler contract should be something they work out - Gilmore's far from a guarantee, and beyond his heroics Butler's also proven to be a starting level CB. Feels like the Pats should just re-sign him and Hightower, fill in the rest with draft picks and value players, and start the season. Garrapolo may be worth something in trade, but as a fallback should Father Time catch up to Brady (and it always catches up to people hard and without warning, like with Peyton) then they're sitting pretty with a backup that could actually perform.

Anyone watching the draft tonight? anyone you really want/don't want?

The Jets have holes everywhere so happy with BPA so long as it isn't someone with injury flags - best result would be a trade down with the Browns to 12 and picking up another 2nd rounder
