This game is totally not going how I expected. This is the team we thought they could be all season

Can't wait for the tourney to start. For the overall #1, Kansas has a pretty tough draw but you gotta beat the best teams to be the champs. Rock chalk!

And to cap off LSUs dumpster fire of a season, we have "elected" to not participate in the postseason

That's ridiculous, I'd still want to play in the NIT if i was on that team. Wonder if Simmons just doesn't want his stock to drop any lower than it has.

I'm curious if it's a ploy to get a jumpstart on a coaching search

I figured it was more Simmons just wanting to be done in college and avoid injury. Dude never really looked all that focused on the college game.

Which is a shame, because of the games I have seen, I don't see the hype about him.

I tend to agree. The eye test over most of the games has been very lack luster IMO. But the stats say something different. He's averaging 20 PPG, 12 rebounds, and 5 assists. You just dont see those kinds of numbers from a guy his size. I think he'll translate well to the NBA. But he's gotta look like he wants to be on the court. If he goes into the NBA with the same attitude he's seemed to have this season, things wont go well for him

True, the line is impressive. Will be interesting to see just how high he goes and who takes him. Back to the tournament though, somebody starting up another bracket pool this year?

Maryland has really fallen off the wagon as the season went on. Melo and Stone need to come back another year. Their draft status has not been helped. Hoping to make it to the sweet 16... :?
