Because the are Notre Dame! Hopefully Stanford beats them and we won't have to deal with them in the playoff. Thankfully Ohio State lost.

The first half of the Notre Dame v Stanford game was non-stop excitement ... add a healthy dose of Gus Johnson and I am thoroughly entertained.

Sweet game.
Can't believe Stanford didn't go for that 2point conversion earlier.
Almost bit them big.

As did not calling timeouts when ND was near the goal line ... could have saved a minute or so.

Actually was hoping that the last ND touchdown - the one reviewed by the refs that the Fox sports crew was convinced would be overturned - would be ruled 1st and goal at the 1/2 yard line. With 30 seconds left, another play (or two or three given the Irish struggles in the red zone) might have eaten all the clock. Oh well, great game. Entertaining from beginning to end.

Very bummed ND lost, especially with how hard they fought to get into the endzone on that last offensive drive. Oh well.

Interestingly, even if they had won, I don't think it would've changed their bowl outlook much. OU locked up their playoff spot by pummeling OK State, so it looks like ND would've gotten a NY6 bowl either way.

Well Saturday may have been the weirdest and most emotional day I've ever witnessed with LSU football

Yeah, has been a very boring bowl season. Would just like to see a competitive game.

totally forgot about TCU/Oregon. TCU was down by 31 in the 3rd quarter and we're in OT right now

Hey coach! Your backup center simply cannot snap the ball. Hello?
Find someone else to do it... Anyone. It couldn't be any worse.
Duh.
