Anyone interested? I usually just do one league with my old high school/college friends but I thought it might be fun to get an EB league together if there's enough interest.

Might it be a good idea to somehow do art prizes?

I'd rather not do the art thing.
Reason: different tastes (although, I'd gladly have anything of trewemans!!)

If we want to do anything other than a cash payout, how about a framing gift card?

Cash is really fine for me, just thought it might be fun to consider. Framing gift card could be a good idea, but probably not realistic either.

I'm in. Shall we create a pool of prints worth x amount? Or just straight cash? Or both?

I'm in if I don't have to run it. :) I just commish too many leagues.

Would prefer a small cash prize over prints ... we tried prints for football the first year we ran it ... never again.

Seems there's enough interest.
Any preference on number of teams or scoring type?

My vote is 10 teams scoring head to head.

My strong preference would be to get 12 teams and to do an auction, rather than snake draft. It seems appropriate considering we all deal with a free market of art. I personally prefer rotisserie, but would be fine with head to head.

I don't want to step on toes, but it seems like the best thing to do would be to collect the names of interested members, make a quick questionnaire regarding format and have everyone vote. The alternative, of course, is whoever is going to serve as the commissioner just make a bunch of decisions and find enough members to compete. Either way works I guess.
