Will the Chargers right the ship?

The Chargers have been on a skid for a few years now. Peyton comes to the division and is playing like an MVP. It's been rough for us fans. Now that AJ Smith has been jettisoned I think things will get better. Anyone else care to comment?

no.....if we get a full year from Ryan "Glassman" Matthews we got a chance . . . . no run game = no passing game

Jesus....the answer is no.

I disagree toobs. Obviously having a run game helps a lot but the packers haven't had a run game for awhile now and arod has been torching everyone. Looks like we might have a decent ground game this year which is going to make the packers even more dynamic.

Good luck to all you guys and hopefully we are all wrong and they can right the ship. :pint:

any QB in the league would be awful with the make shift o-line they have had the last 2-3 years and zero run game . . . . he's really not that bad

As a Cards fan, I'm glad whiz & punt is gone. We'll see if he can positively impact the Bolts' O.

The Chargers went from having one of the most talented rosters in the league to being amazingly thin in just a couple years. O-line is weak, WRs are weak, Matthews is inconsistent and injury prone, it seems Gates is hobbling off the field every other play these days - QB isn't left much to work with after all that. I'm sure Rivers would be much happier if he still had Sproles and Jackson catching passes.

Just re-watched my entire Ravens Superbowl DVD today. They have show that play from 15 different angles.
