Still haven't tried Grimaldi's pizza. I'll stop by the one in The Woodlands before the Keys concert.

Here's my list of favorite places to eat in Houston:

Pizza:
Star Pizza (say hi to my stepdad Erik, he's the manager with the Final Fantasy and Mortal Kombat tattoos at the one next to 59 Diner)
Barry's Pizza
La Dolce Vita
Frank's Pizza
Alamo Drafthouse

Steakhouses:
Strip House
The Capital Grille
Pappas Bros. Steakhouse

Breakfast: (I MUST GO to The Breakfast Klub!)
House of Pies
Buffalo Grille
Cracker Barrel
59 Diner

Tex-Mex:
Lopez Mexican Restaurant
La Finca Mexican Restaurant
Chuy's
La Mexicana
Teotihuacan (On Irvington not Airline)

Other:
Rudyards - Great bar food
Reef- really fresh seafood
Lasagna House- killer eggplant parm
Piatto Ristorante- fettuccine alfredo
Hooters- good crab legs
Benihana- chicken fried rice to-go $3
Cheesecake Factory- nachos and mojitos
Grand Lux Cafe- beignets
Araya- best chocolate in town, macaroons from France
Anvil- best bar for mixed drinks and cocktails, crappy appetizers

Do it! He's a hell of a nice guy. He wears glasses and has short hair, usually wears long shorts showing off his tattoos. He's got like 3 Final Fantasy tattoos. One of which is Cactwars all up and down his leg, crazy dude.

I've known the guy who puts it on for a long time and known his wife even longer. Great to see how much the festival has grown over the past couple of years and how he has revamped Fitzgerald's. I would go, but it takes place at the same time as Chaos in Tejas in Austin and I've been going to that for years. Hope you guys have fun in the heat, that shit is no fun! Be sure at catch Fatal Flying Guilloteens, the fact that they're even playing blows my mind.
