I was thinking of doing the same thing and setting it up every year. Is it just under the City family or are the certain Christmas sets i can narrow my search to?
Just do a search on the Lego site for “winter village”. I got the winter train from last year (it was his first Christmas) and the winter village station for this year

If anyone wants to go backwards beyond the train, I have extras of the 3 prior (Santa’s workshop, winter village and the cottage)

I'll snap a pic of all the sets I have in that series, pretty sure I have all the large ones. The smalls are tougher some years...I think I missed a couple when I had to spend $$$ twice in a month just to get them lol.

I love the idea of getting them out each year, its my fav decorations to put up. But no way am I giving mine to the kids, we have to keep them for when the grandkids come over

Love the lego family traditions! We do the same with the Halloween (Monster Fighter) sets!

My favourite time of the year as well. Every Christmas we get the new wintergillage set and put it away to add to the display the following year. We just brought out the train from last year and built it for the first time. It’s great! Added some extra track and power functions and plan to have it circle the tree this year. A whole new level of excitement! Woot woot!!!

Anyone tried this for displaying the Falcon? I'm having trouble finding a large enough place to put it, but I can fit it on top of my desk and/or bookcase with this

Awesome, thank you! I think you have started something. And this time i dont think the Christmas loving wife will be too averse to the new collection!

Here is a shot of the small boxes I could find right now. I know a few are still somewhere in the attic, but these were handy lol

Usually I just mix these in with the large sets for fun. Some we keep out on the mantle or in other spaces around the house, but they never stay in the box now.

Of these, a few are def my fav. The snowglobe is at the top for sure: https://brickset.com/sets/40223-1/Snowglobe

Gingerbread house is a great one too: https://brickset.com/sets/40139-1/Gingerbread-House

And I love the pair from 2011 that they did in November that year:
https://brickset.com/sets/3300020-1/Holiday-Set-1-of-2 and https://brickset.com/sets/3300002-1/Holiday-Set-2-of-2

The reindeer and snowman ones always remind me of Wallace and Gromit lol its the eyes I think
