I need a brick Lando so I'll be getting the A-Wing set. The whole fam is into Rebels so I'm excited for the Phantom II with the new Kanan fig. The imperial battle pack is a nice cheap way to get some death troopers too. Okay LEGO, just take all my monies...

Any guesses on what the mystery fig is? the ears kinda look like pig ears, but the blocky torso has me confused for sure!

Rumours are it's a highwayman. I don't really see it myself though.

Another one is it's a Matador but would Lego endorse bullfighting?

Now that you mention matador, the hat does look like the tri-tip hats from older (for me, anyway) Pirate sets...

Highwayman, like a dude on horseback?

I could see it being a sandwich board guy on the street, like a dude in a costume promoting a restaurant lol

New to legos...are the mini figures you see on eBay that ship from Hong Kong fake and bad quality ? Or are they just fake ? Do they hold up for the kids to play?

They are knockoffs. But, chances are the kids will never notice or care.

Until they chew on them and those paints get into their bloodstream^

Let's not condone the fakes, folks.

Yeah the knockoffs on ebay are crap, I'd avoid them if possible.

if you are looking for just minifigs, that new city set has a bunch of standard minifigs that are great for town scenes etc. If its SW action you are going for, those $12 sets with 4 troopers are a good one to snag, along with other smaller micro sets.

and lets not forget the batman blind bags, along with the other past series ones that still might be in random stores (looking at you disney sets)
