LEGO - The thread.
Been to the one in FL twice now. Total blast! My 7, 5, and 2 year olds loved it. I would definitely recommend staying at the hotel if you can find a decent rate or are a baller. There was tons to do in the hotel including builds, parties, and a fun pool. Not sure how old your kids are, but most say it maxes out at 12ish and I agree. We were able to do the park in 1 day no problem though a the indoor creation or imagination station or something like that was closed at the time. Definitely a middle schooler age max on the rides though. Nothing wild and crazy and/or scary. Make sure you bring some minifigs to trade with the employees!sidewaysscott wrote:taking my kiddos to Legoland (San Diego) in August. Anyone been?
Got the ATST and a couple microfighters to get the r2. I dig it. There's a nice review of it on thebrickfan, including a pic of it with the minifig r2 and the giant one.
May the 4th be with all of you!

Finally found a box of the new minifig series, snagged a corn guy and the space kid. Didn't realize the space kid has a space shirt too! Claiming that part for my own guy lol
New Zelda collection grid, but still need more; gotta keep adding to my collection!

Found the same two today. There's been a lot of people making that gray space suit into a full fledged gray retro spaceman.starkdesign wrote:Finally found a box of the new minifig series, snagged a corn guy and the space kid. Got more of the minifigs for the kids, each one was requesting one specifically lol so I had to stand at walmart for a few minutes looking like a creeper...
got the fairy girl kid, the hotdog guy, and the pastry chef. (and scifi guy and miami vice guy for me)
damn, these minifigs are awesome! the details on some of them are crazy good, just think of what these looked like 20 years ago compared to now.

I ordered the Slave 1 during the May 4th promo. It looks like they sent the R2D2 and the current promo both, I guess because the backorder caused an overlap.
