If anyone has some Best Buy or Amazon gift cards and wants to trade for retired LEGO, inquire via PM.

Recently found out the brick bank retired and my wife and I need it for our city. Our local Lego store is out but said there could be some random ones still out there in the wild. Anybody have one? Thanks.

Lego is opening a new resort in Goshen, New York next spring 2020. It’s located about 60 miles northwest of NYC and it will be the largest Legoland built to date. A Legoland hotel with 250 rooms is being built on the site as well. Currently they are developing 150 acres of the 500 acre site. Lots of room to expand!

FYI, you can't go to legoland parks unless you are bringing a child

This is 15 minutes from my house. They had to jump through an insane amount of hoops to get it approved and there are still many many people who are pissed it is happening. I think it’s great!

Is that right schmoff? Pretty ridiculous if so. Is that policy printed online somewhere?

yea look it up, people have traveled half way around the world to be turned away at the gate not knowing the policy
i've even heard of disabled adults with the brain capacity of a child being turned away, its a very strict policy

I didn’t know this. Is there an age limit - like 12 and under?

I just tried looking this up, and what you're saying seems only to apply to the Legoland Discovery Center.

To quote someone's post on this subject: "A "Lego Discovery Center" is essentially a Lego-themed Chuck-E-Cheese. They're run by some third-party company that contracted the Lego brand to plaster all over their glorified birthday business. The REAL Legoland parks don't have any kind of must-bring-crotch-fruit restrictions AFAIK."

Ya he doesn't know wtf he's talking about. Dat would be the dumbest business model eva.

P.S. 60 miles from NYC might as well be another state. I've neva seen a more ridiculous group of people with regards to traveling outside their lil boroughs.
