Those are beautiful. Also, that picture gives no idea of scale - any idea how big those are?starkdesign wrote:Toy fair shots of new LEGO sets coming out this year:

The Chicago measurements are "over 7” (20cm) high, 8” (22cm) wide and 1” (5cm) deep." Good size for a desk or shelf. You can judge the others based on that. The Guggenheim will probably be bigger.iwokeinrelief wrote:Those are beautiful. Also, that picture gives no idea of scale - any idea how big those are?

Of all of them I'll almost certainly pick up The Guggenheim.

I religiously collect the Architecture series. I wish they would do something new instead of rehash old sets (like The Guggenheim). Arc De Triomphe looks nice though.iwokeinrelief wrote:Perfect, thank you!glenn1 wrote:The Chicago measurements are "over 7” (20cm) high, 8” (22cm) wide and 1” (5cm) deep." Did build the Buckingham Palace set this weekend, its awesome, love the double-decker bus included too lol
New Zelda collection grid, but still need more; gotta keep adding to my collection!
The architecture sets definitely have been scaled down in recent years. I was surprised how tiny the Lincoln Memorial was when I built it a while back.

I can see why one would think that, but then again they just released the US Capitol Building, which is pretty wide. Granted, its not as large as the Robie house or the Japan Hotel.fanboy wrote:The architecture sets definitely have been scaled down in recent years. But yeah, they are liking the skylines right now it seems. which is cool for most people, but I'd rather drop $200 on one large monument again
