File that one under "because we could".
You gotta be wary of anything that comes in a pink bottle that isn't a love potion or an antacid.

...it's what you get drinking beer outta that bottle. Last time I checked, liquid doughnuts wasn't perfected. I do enjoy me a good Rogue Dead Guy ale though.

I think outside of Sam Admas back in the day Dead Guy was my first microbrew. Love it still.

Has anyone noticed Dead Guy has become less delicious in the last few years or is that just my taste buds changing? Their Hazelnut Brown is pretty much the nectar of the gods, the John John Ale is in my top 5 beers ever, and the Mori Moto Soba and Honey Summer are a favorites too. Anyone try the Pumpkin Patch Ale i just noticed that on the site and I am a sucker for anything with pumpkin...

Speaking of orally offensive, has anyone tried this...

I thought it was a practical joke, it tastes like liquid smoke.

I have noticed that its not that flavorful out of the bottle anymore, maybe i have just been drinking too much of it off the tap.

their variety packs can be killers, but I tried the new spring one and the whitewater IPA is pretty good for a sam adams. the mighty oak is very good in my opinion. Tastes like a karl strauss red trolley

Tried the Sam Adams Cinder Bock last night, definitely not for everyone, but it was pretty good, tasted like I was drinking a smoked ham sandwich.

I had this last weekend...It definitely wasn't all that I thought it would be.
Though it went down really smooth considering it's a smoke beer, it really didn't have a bacon taste...Though I suppose that the maple was used to cut back on the smoky flavors.

Beer is good but we definitely need a liquor thread. Some of my best thinking has been under the influence of that stuff
