^Yeah Founders breakfast stout is awesome, especially on tap. I love Dark Horse crooked tree but that double crooked tree was awful IMO.

Crap. New page. See my long post last page enticing people for a Pliny the Elder trade.
Has anyone had a trade happen yet through this thread? Seems like mostly discussion.

Sorry- wrong thread. I'll check around town for Ye Elder- it's very good. DEN's got a few places that might have/order it.
The Younger is the one that comes out once a year- have not had it yet.

i'm first on the list over at argonaut for the pliney...i believe the distributor told me last week that it should be in this week or next....

I was also able to find 3 bottles of Dogfish 120 IPA, and also just got 4 bottles of the Life & Limb.

I LOVE this thread.

I'd enjoy a trade too...

I can get Pliny (the Elder) pretty regularly here in San Diego. It's pretty damn tasty. One of my favorite IPAs.

I had no idea it was in such high demand. I'm sure I could dig it up if someone's jonesing for it. I can get Blind Pig pretty regularly, too. And any of the Consecration, Damnation, Salvation, etc.

Has anyone tried BrewDogs Sink the Bismarck a quadruple IPA? It comes in at a crazy 41% and is around $120 a bottle here and that is a 330ml bottle,,, you gotta love the crazy scots and there alcoholic ways. They do another punchy beer called Tactical Nuclear Penguin which i have had a mouthful of,, a weaker 40% ( yes only a mouthful as it was pulled out of my hand very quickly ) it is crazy with strong hops and this bitter after taste somewhat like good dark chocolate that stays in your mouth for a long time i hear you can buy it in LA and NY so something to try for a special occasion. I guess you know when you have hit the big league,,, quests rock up to your BBQ with a couple six packs of Sink the Bismarck, cost here in Sydney over 1k.......

As far as the pliny, i had the younger on tap a few months ago, and it was good, but i really prefer the elder. I wish it was available year round here, we get it in for a few weeks a few times a year, and it goes fast. I guess i should stock up next time its around
