Younger, Elder, Row 2 Hill 56, Supplication.

Younger was $6 for a 6oz pour. I waited about 3 hours, was first in line with some buddies, got a table to drink. That's about as long as I'd like to spend standing in front of a bar in Burbank at 7AM. Good turn out with roughly 200 people. They got 1/2 keg.

Didn't open mine yet, but had it on tap and it was really good.

Looking forward to hopefully picking up some on my (now) annual trip to MA in May.

The cbs bottled version in Milwaukee was pretty bland, it was my last straw with founders. I may buy an occasional breakfast stout at a bar but their wares taste really watered down compared to a few years ago. I’m jelly of the keg tap of cbs, never caught one off the spout in time always two minutes too late.
Yeah I felt it was just ok. Had the sweetness and the barrel, but something was just missing for me. Maybe it's the heat being 11.7%. Maybe it's the stupid big bottles and the price point. Either way I wasn't blown away as expected.

Not really a beer guy but if I do it’s Modelo Negro or Dragon’s Milk which sit in my fridge far too long for when I crave one. It was the dragon today, damn good beer on a beautiful day.

Was it worth it?

Picked up a few from Projekt and Untitled Art. My latest seizure in December shattered both my shoulders so I’ve been laying off on the beer hobby due to that dragging on my mind. My wife isn’t very nice either when I do have a beer. But I wanted one yesterday so I picked up these

Tried the Eldorado DMT last night. It was delicious :pint:

Went to Haymaker Bar in Chelsea last night after a bday dinner. Had my first Grimm Telekinesis of the year and finally had some Hudson Valley stuff. their Pirouette is pretty accurate to description. A sour ipa, nice mix of the styles and imagine it would be amazing for the summer.

Ended up doing side project three days in a row, narrow gauge on each end of the trip/bookends. Those Cugino’s meatballs are no joke. Never saw cloud city, but had some OJ run on tap today. Shaved Duck was also the truth. This town has grown whilst I’ve been away I’ve the past 1.5 decades. Looking to move back ASAP.

Went to sour fest today and had a flight of burley oak blueberry cobbler jream, blackberry mango jream, grape squish, and jester kings nocturn chrysalis. Hands down the blueberry cobbler blew everything away. It actually smelled like pie. I think the cinnamon was the key. Also I was rather happy to have gotten the last pour of it before it kicked.

Of the BI stuff. Raspberry Mood Ring is the best you have there, which is significantly better (in my opinion) than Color Wheel. V Fudge is a decent porter, nothing crazy, it was super hyped cause they finally released something NOT an IPA for once. DDH Chief of chiefs is usually one of my favorites, didnt grab any of that run though.
