yup. just purchased a sixer. three deep already. good fudge. kinda spendy @ $10 something a sixer. but could have just became one of my official summer beers. Like orange soda is the official summer soda, but i don't drink soda.
$10 for a sixer is pretty normal in these parts. When we had DFH, it was $14 a sixer. Rouge typically runs you $12, so does Anchor Steam brews. Bigfoot ale was $13 a sixer. Think it has to do with high taxes in TN on alcohol. Having said that, I'd gladly pay $10 for Colette.

yeah, those are steep prices. I didn't obviously have a prob with spending $10 for the sixer. Just a little higher than i typically spend.

Man I want to go to Colorado and drink a lot of beer.
...I'm trying to convince the wife to do it this summer. We can camp and couch surf to save money that can go towards my alcoholism! But she isn't seeing it.

Can you ebay beer? I know a lot of people stand in line for hours for some of the bruery's (yes we are clever in CA about our brewery names) rarer limited stuff and put it on ebay, but I always thought of it as illegal

yeah. you just have to state on the listing that it's not for consumption, yadda yadda, and ship via ups or fedex, not the usps (for now).

Seems like a crazy price for 1 bottle of a lambic, but people on beer boards do seem to be willing to offer crazy amounts of rare bottles for it, could well be legit :o

I've had to reign back my beer collecting/drinking to keep funds for limited paper, but even when I was heavily into it I refused to pay anything above £15 for a bottle, and that was extremely rare cases.

Coloradans. What's the best seasonal brew out right now? Coming out to Denver in a couple of weeks and plan to do some sampling.
