Good info. Thanks!
They just had the regular Berry White and I was on the fence because it sounded a bit sweet for my taste. I did get a Marion to try out though.

its a good blend and as previously stated, i find anything they do with strawberry to be overly sweet.
I broke something today, and I realized I should break something once a week.. - Warhol

We’re happy to announce that the second bottling of Petit Mutant is ready and available tomorrow in Stowe! This batch of Petit Mutant is 13 months in the making. It’s brewed with German Pilsner Malt and American Cascade hops, fermented entirely with a wild yeast known as Brettanomyces Bruxellensis, and then it is re-fermented with over 3000 lbs of Monmorency cherries grown locally in South Hero, VT at Allenholm Farm. This beer is a true labor of love for us here at the Alchemist and we’re excited to share it with you.
I'll be in Middlebury for Xmas. Will this be tough to find?
I find it funny how people are talking about how much of a disappointment CBS is. Nothing will ever live up to the godly status that people put on this beer. That being said, I think it’s phenomenal!

probably the weakest of all the Bomb! variants I've hadkansasbbq wrote:^There's plenty of Christmas Bomb here if you need any help.
Haha good to know. I don't need a huge supply, just wanted to grab a couple for the annual Christmas share I have with my father-in-law and brother-in-law. But I won't stress that one. Appreciate the insight, fellas!
Abraxas has a 1-bottle limit, so that I'll for sure grab if it's still there. They also apparently still have some Black Note left, which I've never tried, but saw a comment here how it's not what it used to be.
I am stoked to try CBS, though!

I'd love to score a BA Bomb someday. But the PAA beers I really covet are the Noirs. This week Prairie Noir, Coffee Noir, and Vanilla Noir hit the Twin Cities. $10-$12/bottle, which is steep, but man they are fantastic. I managed 3 each.Codeblue wrote:The only Bomb I covet anymore is Pirate Bomb and BA Bomb.
Bourbon Paradise (also PAA) and Sierra Nevada BA Coconut Narwhal also hit this week. I'm not huge on coconut beers, but that Bourbon Paradise is supposed to be amazing...so I grabbed 2 of those, too. Passed on the Narwhal, though.
Oddly enough I neva see the Noirs out here. Only saw Apple Brandy once, and man is that a great beer. Vanilla was good as well (got it in a trade), but not as good as the Apple Brandy. Haven't had the others.
