EB needs a member tattoo thread

Talk about anything here. Post lifespan is 1 year.

Postby BlakeAronson on Sun Feb 27, 2011 3:27 pm

post some pics of your tattoos. bad or good, but the keyword is 'yours', so something on your body, or something you put on someones body.

I'll go first. Started this on my inner arm last night, will finish the shading and color next appointment. super happy with how it turned out. I gave old Ernst Haeckle panels as reference material to the artist.

Jesus Christ. I saw that thread title and thought you were talking about people with the EB logo tattooed on them. Or like "DRYMOUNT" across their stomach, Tupac-style. Phew.

" EB needs a member tatoo thread "
I was scared to look.
I thought it was a thread of people with tatoos on their members.

Last night I was at my watering hole, chatting with a bud, he was telling me about this chick he had met that got a penis tattooed on her ass. She also had Daddy tattooed on her tit. I'm guessing she wears bad decision jeans everyday.

My first tattoo was done in a guys house for like $100, it is horrible but from that i learned and i am pretty proud of the rest.

And this is a crappy phone pic of one I did on myself (first one!)

I've got too many to start listing or taking pics of them but I will say that my "Born to drymount" tramp stamp is still funny. Despite all the advice to the contrary fifteen years ago when I got that one on a dare. :)

This is the only one I have right now. My Grandpa was a Captain in WW2 and flew bombers over in the Pacific. After he passed away I wanted to get something to remember him by.

I really want the starship troopers death from above tattoo. I've been told by countless friends not to make such a horrible decision. I mean it can't be any worse than a born to drymount tattoo, hah.

Stingers, I dig the one you did yourself. I'd love to get some sort of geometric pattern on my right arm, which I've been saving for a sleeve, like the ones thomas hooper does, unfortunately I haven't found any west coast artists good for that nor can I afford to start a sleeve.

Come stay on my couch for a few days and get some work done at Old Crow in Oakland. Philip Milic can do that stuff real well. Check it out here: http://www.oldcrowtattoo.com/ (click Tattoo, then click Philip's name in blue for a sample gallery, there's some mandala- and Alex Grey-looking stuff in there that might be what you mean).
