Anyone have tips for the best way to get good deals on Cubs tickets? Should I watch stubhub on the days leading up to the game? Game time app? Grab tickets last minute from a reseller across the street from Wrigley?

I think the Cubs allow ticket holders to sell on Stubhub up to 6 hours before game time; sometimes you can catch people dumping their tickets around then.

If you're willing to pay face I'd check tickets.com the night before / morning of since there's almost always some day of game tickets released.

If you have to resort to a scalper, waiting till after the 1st inning tends to result in cheaper tickets; at worst the box office should have SRO tickets if you're desperate...

Hey folks:
Isn't there a "Things To Do in Chicago" thread? I posted on a couple years back, but it might have vanished by now. Anyhow, coming up with the lady friend in late August (24-27) for a little get away. I'll be back here with more specific requests soon.

If any of the EB Chicago mob have/know of extra PJ tickets for this weekend, I'm hoping to grab a pair for both nights. Have cash, Fenway swag, etc

Chicagoans! Anyone need any 4 x 18 tubes? I've got 15 that I'll give away for free. Message me if interested. I don't own a car, so pick-up has to be in Wicker Park near Damen and Division.

Thanks!
