Well, that was a joke. He’s an artist. He uses money that he makes to buy things like pens, paper and other items in life.

I’m no art legend. I collected what I liked. And now, I just don’t care anymore...which is why I’m selling a majority of it.
Real world > art world. Not where I wanna spend my time anymore. Simple enough.

Oh hell yea. I’ve been blacklisted from BNG for a long long time. It’s all good. I don’t buy anymore so it suits me just fine.
And if you consider me selling something I paid for and have owned for years for more than a paid for it an act of “flipping”...then yes, I’m flipping it. While I appreciate your sentiments and undying dedication to the craft, I’m sorry to inform you that to I will not be accepting “cost” offers on this piece, as it’s value has increased dramatically over the years.

you just have alot of baggage with posting this for sale.

and i found the "art legend" comment funny because your post has alot of grandstanding about moving on etc, etc. but you are listing big ticket items from an artist you are banned from buying because you threw a tantrum at a show. at that artist home no less.

so while yeah things change, and get market price for that if someone wants to pay for it. just like the dressing up of liquidating the welkers from your collection after a huge drop from him.

Long story with BNG. Happened within the last few years. Not worth the words.
David and I have have known each other for 7+ years. We’ve hit bumps in the road but over the years, as those things happen in life. At the present time, I wish him nothing but continued success and adventures in his ever evolving artwork and life.
